I know they just played each other I really didn’t think magnus played his best. Vote with your comments.
All Carlsen has to do is to play the Ponziani as he is an expert of both Black and White in that opening.
And poor Fabio--recently when he played Black against the Ponziani he very quickly got into a losing position out of the opening.

Never knew "corona" was such a versatile word.
I only thought of the eye.
That's a tough one but I've got to go with experience. Magna Carta's been around since 1215.

Till now the players with the best results with Ponziani were the ones that avoid it.
Some openings are only for once or twice in a life-time experiments , not for more.
