Personally I think that there are a few good looking GMs. for example Grischuk, Karjakin, and MVL are rather attractive. Wesley So isn't bad either.
although I have noticed that female chess players usually tend to be more attractive than their male counterparts.

I'd like to offer a serious answer:
There are some professions for which being physically attractive confers a sgnificant advantage - acting, modelling, sales, etc. Chess does not fall in that category, so people who are attractive are not naturally attracted to chess.
