In Finnish bishops are embassadors.
Why aren't bishops called gurus, rabbis or mullahs?

I've seen lähetti translated as messenger before. Is that incorrect, or are both acceptable translations?
No no, don't misundertake me. I'm saying chess with the King/Queen/Bishop/Knight is already the British Royalty theme so it has to be the default. I'm not saying that's preferred over an American CEO + Silicon Valley Startup + NASCAR theme, obviousy. Jeez. And everyone knows an elephant is bigger than the moon with reference to where you're standing. The problem with your Who Wants to Be A Millionaire question is they should have referred to Mass. Those idiots. The key to clarity is referencing everything to Massachusetts
Really an elephant is larger than the Moon?
Oh gosh this forum needs help.

Everything is bigger in America. Especially elephants.
"Everything is bigger in America. Especially elephants". true enough Theron G12. and "America" is somewhat between the size of an elephant and the Moon as it stretches it's length from the polar regions north of Hudson Bay to the Cape of Horn, a bit south of Tierra del Fuego.

That is "the Americas", i.e. North and South America
"America" on its own generally refers to that fairly sizeable country in the middle of North America.

Wouldn't we be better off if we refered to them as the "Indies" and the "West Indies"?
That would also explain the elephants, chess... and the Indians btw.
Sometimes my classmates (especially girls) are so dumb. When I start moving the bishop across the board, they feel like it grosses them out. This is NOT the reason why I picked the bishop as a username.
Because chess adopted its new rules in Christian Europe around the same time the inquisition forced Jews to convert to Catholicism or leave Spain. People at the time wondered why Jews were so rude too but if you do the math then if you're being socially excluded then why bother being nice to members of the dominant group who more than likely think less of you anyway? It's like the old saying you don't owe a racist courtesy, they wouldn't give up their seat for you on a bus after all so why do it for them?

Even the Trompowsky or 1.d4,f5 2.Bg5 or 1.d4,d5 2.Bg5 systems? I thought those had sex appeal
It's the Knights that should be called Bunnies because they hop. Hop here, hop there. That's what bunnies do
Chess.com probably needs to simply increase the scope of their thems. Not just colors and piece styles, but piece names and possibly shapes (which would be much easier to pull off graphically than in actual material pieces).
Then they can add audio capabilities to the game analysis where a text/audio engine interprets the analysis file and converts the output to the selected theme, and speaks it in the selected theme as well.
