I have (4) friends on Mr. Chess Dot Com. (2) I have personally met (Dimzo & ngoro) at tournaments and (2) I haven't. And (21) acquaintances (not friends - I've lobbied tirelesly for an acquaintance button but got told off) for a total of (25).

So Ghostess, what do you think of Donald Trump? Isn't he a standout guy. I do belive he is going to force FIDE to definitively state that uncastling is prohibited. Not sure what those religious zealots are going to do about it though, they are well against the idea.

It's because both parties agree that playing tennis with one tennis ball is how they wish to proceed to negotiate how to solve who is the better player at that moment on that day !
The same thing happens w/ castling in chess. Both parties accept that castling w/out the ability to uncastle is how they generally accept to resolve who is the better player at that moment on that day.
....and that's all it means. Nothing more and nothing less.
Now. If both players decided they wanted to resolve their match by allowing uncastling ?....what would the TD say ? Would she/he have a say ?
Remember, earlier on this thread I proved that this is NOT a chess variant. So the TD cannot use that as an excuse.
