(#148) After 1.Nc3 d5 (or anything else) 2.Nb1 , white's second move IS NOT RETRACTING OR UNDOING THE FIRST
....and neither would uncastling be.
You just strengthened my argument even more !! TY jengy........

Okay. I wanna see empirical evidence that this challenge has shown up in tournament play and was TD rejected. I don't think it has. IOW's, if it hasn't shown up in practice, then when do u expect FIDE to do something about 3.8a ?
This beatch is back !....I'm sorry but you ppl are pushing my buttons into a good fight going 4ward here. And I can guarantee every1 something....I can beatch better than anyone you've ever read ! (teeth gritting....)
@lola stop making troll threads questioning the rules of chess lol, first smothered mate and now this? it clearly doesn't say anything regarding "uncastling" and therefore it is not legal...

"Start w/ the definition of Pawns."
You make his point for him... start with the definition of "castle"

I looked it up, and it's not there.
But when I play on chess.com it doesn't let me promote my knights. Unfair!
SIMPLE -> when you castle you can't uncastle it's that simple. it IS illegal, just Google it. 😁😉 hope this helps
"3.8 a. There are two different ways of moving the king..."
Uncastling would be a 3rd way of moving the king. If you claim it's just a variation on castling then you run into the problem that the king can only jump two squares on it's very first move. You can't uncastle because the king's already moved.
"Why can't my pieces float above all the other pieces and squash them? There's no rule that says they can't! I want my pieces to fly..." We play by the rules of what we can do. Not by what is written that we can not do.
You're being silly now....straighten up.
