FYI: the swastika was a Buddhist symbol at least a couple of thousand of years before it ever had any relation to a fascist regime in Germany.

Not really, since it was a universal good luck charm. It's a very ancient symbol and the Nazis stole it no more than Buddhists did.

There's also a modern myth that the Nazi symbol was drawn the other way round from the good luck charm. That's untrue, since the latter is found both ways round in ancient texts etc.
