If Halloween were in May,
then I would enjoy May's Maize Maze.
And if the Maize Maze in May had been created by a farmer's wife named May, and could have a few surprises in store for those walking around in it:
May May's May's Maize Maze amaze?

Stop hijacking the thread from rowsweep's original question, Ben.
The answer has nothing to do with the farmer's wife, and everything to do with his daughter.

if the fields are wet and slippery
then all the visitors and customers who visit and walk through
May May's May's Mayflower Maize a-Maze-ing Maze but fall down.
the rich farmers don't want any lawsuits. because then they might have to sell their concubine harvester to pay off their legal fees.
that means no chess lessons from GMs.
Oh I see, thanks rowsweep. I was rather worried that this thread might be turning out to be not having anything to do with chess at all, which would have been rather boring.

this could be a chess set they use
why does the farmer's wife look like his sister?
her name is May. She is the one who owns the
May May's May's Mayflower Maize a-Maze-ing Maze
There are so many poor chess players out there, starving all across the globe. Probably the results of a rare plague you contract from making too many blunders. If only we could deliver the proper margins of corn to each chess player's house daily, perhaps we could prevent the pandemic from spreading to checkers and poker players...
why does the farmer's wife look like his sister?
Because that's how whoever made the set made them.
bought a ticket for a runaway train
like a madman laughing at the rain
little out of touch, little insane
it's just easier than dealing with the pain
a lot of farmers are millionaires because they own big attractors and a lot of land and a bar and animals.
Not to mention the concubine harvester ...
The concubine harvester works overtime in October.
