Just calm down and play chess for fun, and don’t take it so serious. Use your mistakes as a lesson to improve and slowly get better over time. Don’t be so mad because it happens to everyone.
why do i keep on throwing completely winning positions
bro i already havent made a forum abt tilting in ages. this isnt even abt tilting and im just askign why i keep on failing to convert winnign advantages. if u dont wanna help then just dont post a comment. have u really blundered like this at 2000+?: https://www.chess.com/analysis/game/live/166368740846
this post is definitely made because of your tilt, so yes it is about tilting
it happens to all of us, i lost 34 points (not much but still) because i'm playing like a 2000, we just have to deal with it and move on, dwelling on mistakes doesn't help you.
I have thrown many winning positions too. happens due to stress or tilt. Everyone goes through this phase trust me. All u can do is calm down, play and enjoy the game, remember that ur life is not on the line, ur playing for fun

Game 1: The correct continuation on move 19 was difficult to calculate and find in a live game. Nonetheless you should analyze it and see why the correct move is correct, it is a very tactical sequence. the correct move was pawn to d2, which black cannot take because of tactical reasons. Tricky to see, but useful to learn from.
Game 2: you were winning in a tricky endgame against a bishop in low time. When you are fighting against a bishop it's safest to play on the opposite color squares as that bishop.
Game 3: you were never winning here, you fell for a common trap in the owen's defense. On move 6 instead of a3 try Qe2 or Ne2.
If this ever happens to you again just analyze why you couldn't convert and learn from the mistakes. In rapid be cognizant of your time and make sure you have enough time to convert, know what you are doing in the openings so you save time for the middlegames and endgames.
I've been there, recently I threw a +3 advantage with lots of time on the clock, very irritating game to lose for me. Nothing I can do but learn from the errors.
If you want practice converting winning positions you can set up winning positions (consider using positions from your games) on the analysis boards and play them against the chess.com bots, I've done this in the past.
Biggest tip i was told and I have always tried to use as a habit is every time you look at a position for example a winning position is:
Look at the available Candidate moves in the position, there maybe 1, 2, or 3+ look at each one and look at the possible replies till you can narrow it down to two possibles and then you will be able to workout the best continuation this is a good practice to follow, Do Not just look and pick first move that enters your mind you got to look at the bigger picture before deciding the best line👍

Don't sweat it too much. Even at 2000+, tilt is real. It’s mostly mental-focusing on 'not losing' instead of 'winning.' Take a short break, reset, and trust the skill that got you to 2100 in the first place. You've got this!
