Hello, I see that many people here and on other online sites hate the Scandinavian so much and get so upset when they see it. Even on the gotham-hikaru opening tier list part 3 (36:00) they claim its a ¨cult¨ ¨addiction¨ and a ¨pyramid scheme¨

so i ask why its reputation is terrible and why people say this?

I love to play against the Scandinavian defense because white comes out with a comfortable position.

I'm not quite sure. I have the impression that if black plays wrong then white can keep having tempo and cause black to fall apart, but i don't know that for sure, that's just something i've seen.
