Rules are for normal people. The more wealth and fame you have, the more you can get away with breaking them.
Hikaru makes people money... and when you make people money those people are more lenient with the rules.
This is a fact of life all the way up the social ladder.

I guess, but so many people famous people have gotten cancelled. A lot of them are more famous than Hikaru is.

I didn't say fame gives you immunity, I said it's in proportion.
Being salty after a loss, and acting like a child is trademark Hikaru, but it's not exactly running an illegal prostitution ring.
When Hikaru was younger (teenager - mid 20s) he was notorious for being a poor sport and bad mannered. If anything, over time he has gotten less rude, but he is still just as obnoxious.
Cursing is fine. A lot of people do it, and usually it isn't directed heavily toward someone. If it is, its really casual. I am talking about the many instances where Hikaru is hypocritical.
