Why is it against the rules for us to swear or be mean to people, but

Hi CandyCigarettes,
Report it by hovering the mouse over "Help" then to "Report Abuse"
"Help" is on the left - under "ChessTV" - then simply follow the directions from there

No problem, that is not only against the site rules, but it is also somewhat disturbing that such a picture/caption exists.
Best of luck reporting them, be nice (but truthful) of the matter in the report, and chess.com is great with taking action/responding.

Hi CandyCigarettes,
Unfortunately, we don't always catch things as soon as they appear, and we value the assistance of the community in identifying this sort of material so we can take appropriate action - that avatar has now been removed.
Having said that, reproducing the offensive content and naming the alleged offender in the forums is not the correct process, and Chess.com removes these from posts: the Support team needs to investigate these things appropriately, and broadcasting them in public does not help that process. Take screen shots, report them via the links supplied and described above, and leave it to the Support team to act.
Thanks for your input and for being a Chess.com member!
Cheers,
David, moderator
Why is it against the rules for us to swear or be mean to people, but Players like [removed - David] Are allowed to have a picture of Jesus flipping you the bird with a saying on it that "Even Jesus thinks your a [removed]"?
The rules of this site are wacked!
