boy this thread sure died.
Thanks again.
the rook is the king's castle lol
Einstein would say that all of the pieces' defined size would be small (or a similar adjective), as all of the pieces are relatively small to their real counterparts. A real rook, queen, pawn, etc. would never be as small as the pieces are, so the pieces would have to be considered small. It can't be considered a regular size nor a large size since the real thing could never be that small.
I can never remember if Einstein addressed the rook's height in special or general relativity.
Should the rook be felted at both ends in case there is a queen shortage?
That's not a bad idea because there is often a queen shortage - especially when my opponent is one of those annoying people who refuse to resign. I make him wait until I've queened each of my pawns before putting him out of his misery. When I run out of upside down rooks, I use salt shakers and vanilla extract bottles if playing white - or if playing black, pepper shakers and Worcestershire sauce bottles.
no, just have more queens lol
Have you not studied economics? Do you know what happens to the price of queens when there's a shortage? Through the roof! The solution is to buy more rooks.

If Einstein had said that, we wouldn't have heard of him.

I guess Debbie Downer left. What a shame. She was a barrel of laughs.
