Why isn't chess more popular?
chess requires thinking and is much harder to "master" than, say, Monopoly.
Have you ever played competitive Monopoly? It is much harder to master than you would think. I would put it at a little less hard than chess.
Well yeah, but a lot of chessplayers tend to be know-it-alls. Which might be one reason why the game isn't more popular...
It's time you started looking at the trail you leave behind you!
I tried to warn him, but he bit my head off. Nix that idea.
I recommend watching where you are going, it can save the hassle of running into avoidable trouble, as much as, if not better than looking at what you've left behind.
now that logic may be useful behind the wheel of a car, but when you're constantly blabbing your head off online ....
I'm sorry I couldn't hear you...could you repeat that ?
Oh crap, don't get him started on that again.
NOOO!!!

Oh. Yeah.
i know it's hard for you to get cuz you sucked so bad at school, but yeah, i already covered that.
Why misconstrue my apathy for inability? Do I have to show you up again, just to prove I can?
Please do. We are on the edge of our seats.
What I notice is that there are a lot of anti-social people in chess, and a lot of them seem to have either Tourette's or autism.
This just reaffirms the belief that chess is full of either eccentrics or social rejects.
A good example is Ivanchuk and Anand.
