Have you tried chess.com in a different web browser? It doesn’t sound like a membership issue at all.
Why so many have left Chess.com
Some have complained that support is no longer reachable at all, under virtually any circumstances. The automated thing claims it will throw your question over to support after about 30 clicks, but hey, so far I haven't been able to get it to work. Hope I don't ever have a REAL serious problem, because apparently they just aren't taking questions anymore. Too bad. Sill love this site otherwise though.

Support had over 23,000 conversations last month, which i believe are opened tickets.

@u0y comadfa is right - NO sound warning. You must be someone who pays for membership like was mentioned
If you actually read my post, you’ll see that the sound warning must be turned on in settings. This is not a member-only feature. I’ve attached an image that shows the setting you need toggled for you to get the low-time warning. I would appreciate it if you would actually read my post before posting a condescending comment.
I did read what you wrote and the option is checked on, the problem is there is NO WARNING SOUND. It might work for you, but I m not the only one this happens to. And to all those people who couldn't help but to say 'I watch the clock and play chess at the same' Ain't you amazing? Imagine if everyone was like you? But everyone is different and some people prefer to concentrate on the game and not the clock. Some people come here to play chess and others to read and comment on the forums.
