I did this once in  a game which lasted over a year. Has anyone else done this in a long time period game?

I so--I would like to see the game?

I've done this many times with blitz games, a few times with training games at G/30, and I've also been on the multiple-loser-in-one-game side too!!

jlcoon please explain how you were able to win the same game twice??

I was quite a bit ahead of most of the other players on my chess team, so when we would practice, I would let them begin the game again from an earlier point after they'd lost (by checkmate, resignation, or on time), and then play that back game. I would allow them to play any number of back games, going back all the way to the opening if they desired.

My Novag Scorpio would do the same thing to me.

I once challenged a very strong team on the internet --their top player is now a GM but also some 2400 and 2300 rated players were on the team.   They had maybe 9 days on average to make a move. I played very fast--putting pressure on the team.  After several months they lost on time.  But they insisted they wanted to continue the game.  It was okay with me as I had a good position..Many months later they resigned.
