So the question is NOT whether (young)women play well, but if they play at all! This is the real statistical issue you see:
Of course, probably most of us have come across "playgirls" into the chess servers, that is girls who seem addicted to chess, no matter their true potential!
But how common is it really for the modern ladies to be avid chessbook readers, or even more formally, to organize their lifestyle in harmony with REAL tournaments?
