Won match and lost 25 rating!?

I recently won a match in a daily chess tournament against a player with a much lower rating than myself. I lost 25 rating points. For WINNING! I could understand not gaining any rating, but they took 25 away for a win? How is this justified? It was in a tournament, its not like I had anychoice but to play the match.... I'm pissed off!

(1) Maybe you could post the game that you won, which lost you rating points.
(2) It never happened btw. - You cannot lose rating points for winning a game.

I just looked through your last page of games (on your profile) and every game you won, your rating increased. Every game you lost, your rating decreased.
That goes back to games finishing on December 26th.
Also, it should be mentioned that your rating changes at the end of the game for Daily and it doesn't matter what your rating was when the game started but what it was when right before it ended.

It was probably the bug from yesterday, which has already been fixed.

The OP only plays Daily and that only impacted Live as far as I'm aware.

I do see some Live games in their archive, so it could have been that bug. It could also be that the OP isn't aware that there are different ratings for different styles of play (regular vs. 960 or bullet vs blitz).

Well, no Live games yesterday, so it wouldn't have been that specific bug and no 960 since 2015 (or any Live since then)....
