alil ques about the chess.com blogs

hi .. so I was wondering if the blogs are only to write about your "chess ideas" or stuff to deal with chess.. coz all the blogs I read are about chess. so you're not free to write whatever you want out there? or are the people only alil too crazy about chess to talk about anything else? xP

Hi sooca, you can write whatever you want in your own blogs, it doesn't have to be about chess ( just as long as whatever you post doesn't fall outside of the site rules) 

blogs and forums are pretty much the same, yes? no?

The key difference is that a blog is a finished expression of a personal view that does not require a response; whereas a forum [post] is the starting point of a discussion that RELIES ON participation.
