When I tried playing a game, in the middle, I accidentally slid my index finger from the middle of the left edge to the right, and that made me exit the game.

That may be a device setting. I know I had to update sobe settings in Android to prevent edge swipes from being so sensitive. I still have some issues with what you're seeing if I move a piece too quickly from the edge of the board but it's not the site/app doing it.
