I got muted once for quoting someone and it upset me so much that I complained to Support about why the muting was so unfair and afterwards, they lifted it.

Support takes really long in the normal channels. Sending mail to support is now deprecated. It's all just confusing. Maybe that was the idea in the first place. Red tape till we just give up.
