Hi

If you have an on-going team match and there is a cheater who is in one of your team matches, how do you get rid of it? if it is already running, how do you get rid of it? I would love you to get rid of him if you could. Thanks! :)

How do I report someone I think is cheating?

  • If you have reason to believe someone is cheating, please report it here and include all relevant info (username, reason for suspicion, etc). We investigate all reports and keep them confidential.
  • Please do not discuss your suspicions in the forums!

I have played a match vs a team which lasted a year on the internet. Using  computers was allowed.  Each player on the team had a computer. The team I played spent literally thousands of hours in deciding their moves.  Why not allow computer help?

It is almost impossible to say no computer help and have everybody on the team decide to accept that rule.

There are sites that allow computer use. Let those who want to use engines to play their games go to those sites.  Why should all sites have to accept players using engines ? Shouldnt players who dont want to use engines, nor play against those who use engines have some sites where they can play too ?

You make a good point. All I am really saying is that is must be very hard for all players not to cheat and also hard to "catch a cheater"

We provide tools to report cheating to our staff. But having several constant and redundant threads on the topic that circulate with the same questions and comments over and over again isn't helpful, and instead causes people to worry more than they need to. If you want to discuss cheating, please do it in this group
