Today I was in a 3 check arena, then I lost 12 rating just cuz of misclick!! I was in a crushing position, I was gonna win in 3 moves, but I accidentally gave up my queen by misclick, chess.com you need to fix this immediately

How to make them less common? Make a move verification? well, that will take more time if you are playing faster

Isn’t it your fault if you misclick? Maybe next time don’t drag pieces.

That’s not cc’s fault

I suggest Chess.com require a 5-digit passcode be entered before each and every move is finalized. This will keep hackers from taking over my mouse and making disastrous move blunders that lose me games I am sure to win! Dirty, filthy hackers!!! 😡😉 - Reggie jk

Yeah it's your fault lmao

yxyang

i lost countless rating due to bad internet

RachelBanana

It's not even chess.com's fault that you misclick. Your opponent has the same chance to misclick as well, so it's not unfair at all.

That dosent have anything to do with this

Potato, I know how you play. Sometimes, somehow, you just lose pieces.

i m sorry but i cant remember numbers and also rip to bullet players

StumpyBlitzer

Agreed, miss click with a mouse is the players issue, as mentioned you can put an option of confirmation of moves but in fast time control will cost you.

Good luck

The_Blue_Nightshade

hey idea if u keep a pascode while entering clear the bord and stop time codecan be 3 digit so that no mouse slips and cheating

Judging by your ratings I’d say it happens pretty often

You could stop making "misclicks" but that is probably to simple for you.

Tell me then, how could chess.com fix this? Do you expect them to believe you when you ask them for a rating refund?

Yes, ideally you should, but unfortunately there is no way to prove a misclick really was an accident, so it's just something we've all got to deal with.
