Chess.com toolbar question

I recently installed the chess.com toolbar for Firefox and I have a question. When I click on the "my move" icon and switch from my games to the forums, all of the forums are marked as read (no new posts) even though I haven't been on the forums prior to the visit. Is this normal for them to be marked as "all read" or do I have to change something on the toolbar settings?
