Also, double bishops are better than double knights, but one knight is better than one bishop =P.  Mostly opinion, but here's fact: Knights are better at the beginning of the game, bishops are better at the end.  Flying2828 fact =P.


if you lose one of the bishops then your other bishop will never be able to capture pieces on a different-colored squareLaughing

on the other hand, either knights can be on both-colored squares. but a knight is limited to the amount of squares it can moveLaughing

so both pieces have disadvantages and advantagesWink
