How do you get the "Chess.com VIP" and the "Participant" Achievement?

I've just played a few rapid and bullet games, and nothing's changed. Is this achievement broken?

2nd edit: I joined a tournament, but I didn't get the Contender achievement.
3rd edit: I think "Contender" is unlocked when I play a DAILY tournament instead of a LIVE tournament.
4th edit: I'm curious about why I didn't get the "DAILY 25" achievement yet, despite being involved in at least 25 daily games.
Can someone please help me here?
Maybe it's buggy because I started some of those games without finishing them? Should I keep playing daily games until the website lets me play in tournaments? (I've been told that I can only play in tourneys after I've played 30 daily games.)
Also, I believe that I recently completed 100 lessons, so how come I still only have the Kindergarten and Grade School achievements while Chess College remains locked?

Well, the OP closed their account several months ago so one thing is certain, no more achievements forthcoming!

This worked perfectly for me!! Appreciate it. I was intrigued by the idea of being able to see all my games but couldn't figure it out. These instructions helped me get the achievement, but also be able to look at all my games as well!!

I don't know if live 960, king of the hill, 3 check are counted. At any rate, I can't see the number of those you have played.
