How to message during LiveChess?

Hi everyone, i hope your day is going smooth.

I'm new to chess and Chess.com and need to know how to say hi and thanks to the opponents when playing live on line. Some apponents have put a message, hello or thanks which shows up under the game title.

So how do i reply or initiate such dialogue ?

From a forum post, you can hover the mouse pointer over on their name, then click on 'Send a Message'.

Otherwise, click on their name to go to their profile page. You'll see 'Send a Message' on the right (under Actions).

Are we able to send a messige during play ?

Have you tried typing in the text box below the main chat pane? (Where I have typed: YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO TYPE HERE)
