I can not change my e-mail

I'm trying to change my e-mail address using simplelogin. I'm currently using it to help mask my proton account. When I keep trying to save it on my account I get a green message saying I will receive a verification link but it never comes. I added the chess.com domain to my allow filter, but still nothing. Can anybody help me resolve this issue please?

As long as you're patient, you'll probably get a response and fix your problem

When I type in the new Chess.com alias it says "something went wrong. Please try again." what should I do
