I'm pretty sure the recipient sees the message.
Thanks Martin, but what I really need to know, does it show the name of the person on the message ?
I mean the name of the sender
The person who I sent the gift to,says the message had no name on it , and I have disputed that

I believe it normally does show the gifter username in the message but there may be an option when gifting to exclude it.
