I'm experiencing a bug right now I've experienced numerous times. iPhone 4, ioS 6.1.3
Frequently, when I start a game, and at times in the middle of a game, I get a "Loading Game" message in yellow at the bottom of the screen. When that message is there, I can't do anything in the app. I can see my opponent, but I can't do anything. Sometimes the game is abandoned, sometimes it starts back up (frequently at a loss of time for me grrr) and other times I have to restart.
Just thought you all should know there's some pretty nasty iphone app bugs in the chess.com app. Specifically IOS 6.0.2.
In low connectivity areas, intermittently a move will be made by me, followed by the opponents time counting down so i'm waiting for him to move, a min or so later my clock corrects and shows my time counting down even though I made the move and it shows I made it, apparently its not making it to the server ... Only correction is to manually close the app and restart, hit live chess and redownload the status of the game.
There is also an annoying bug that randomly occurs where the click piece, click square to move to stops working and the only way to move your pieces is to drag and drop (very error prone). When it occurs, even force quitting the application doesn't seem to fix it, nothing short of a power down will resolve the issue.
Other than that, errors which game completion text are relatively minor in comparison (says I won by checkmate when it was a draw, or likewise win on time when it was a loss random stuff like that.)
Also, the iphone app has no way of blocking players, or reporting them correctly. You can do it via the submit ticket, but usually the link to the game is not readily available short of logging into the site through the web browser.
