Lagging Pieces at the start of every new game

Every time I get a pairing in any time control, the pieces lag whenever I drag them at the start of the first game. This continues until I refresh the page (mid-game), which is quite annoying in 30-second games. None of my other tabs do this, and this piece lag happens every time I exit and come back into Play.

I’m already doing most of the things it recommends. This has never been an issue before and it only began only a week or two ago. In the meantime I also figured out it is not just the pieces, but every button within the Play feature (for example “new game”, “games”, and “players”). And once again, everything flies back to normal after a refresh. I do not think this is a problem on my computer’s end
