I suppose you've checked the obvious things - do you have JavaScript enabled & everything up to date ?
Before other members go to those lengths, they might want to try downloading & using Google Chrome - I've been using it exclusively since I came to this site & I've had no problems with it that I can remember.
I could fix this problem in Firefox this way:
get into the properties of Firefox by entering
about:config
into the adress field. Forget about the warning and continue to look for the key named:
accessibility.blockautorefresh
right click on it and select
switch
to change the value from true to false
Hope it also works for you.
Please ad same for other browsers if you find out. This annoying problem occurs regularly and Support hasn`t had good ideas execpt for STRG+F5
