mysterious disconnection

I was playing and suddenly when I was about to win and he was going to run out of time I was mysteriously disconnected. I have a picture of the situation. What’s up with that?
Seems pretty fishy. I use the app and never disconnect.

Disconnects are not just caused by the client or your local connection, though they often are. Issues between your client and the Live server process can cause disconnections as well
One thing to note, the two clients never directly communicate, so your opponent can't impact your connection. They send move data and potentially chat to the live server and that process passes only the move, updated clock times, and chat to the other client.
While it might not be impossible to hack the server process, someone that has those skills won't be causing their opponents to disconnect.
