No email change verification

I've requested a change to my email address. No verification email has been sent. I see this problem first reported in December of 2012.

How do I get my email changed?

You may not get anything. If you check your settings, can you see that it's different?

The web page told me that it sent a verification email. My settings still show the old email address.

Did you check your spam/junk folders? Maybe you have a typo?

Nothing in the spam folder. When I went to re-request the change, the new email address was already in the Firefox suggestions for the drop-down list, indicating that I had typed it right the first time.

Are you not getting configured email alerts on the new address, other than that initial email it said you would get?

I'm not getting anything on the new mail address.
