I used to be between 1700 and 1800 few years back. But slowly my rating started slipping. Now I move between 1400 and 1500. But if my memory serves me right, my percentile was around 98 even then as it is now. Has rating algorithm been tightened some years back? Has almost everyone's rating come down, generally speaking because of change in Rating calculations? Or is my memory playing tricks and my percentile was around 99% few years back?

The percentile calculation is now limited to all the players who were active in the last 90 days.
