chess.com has an official statement coming out soon regarding the servers, but basically there are so many new players to chess (that is awesome!) and chess.com also recently passed 100 million users on the site! As great as this news is, the current servers are overloaded from this much traffic and it is causing some coding issues across the site because of it.
chess.com has already brought in server reinforcements and more computer coders/programmers to get things running smoothly. I don't know when the chess.com official statement will come out, but this is the summary of it.
3 separate times in the last week or so I've been in a completely winning position and gotten a server error on the game. I can't even go back to the game, it's just completely gone from the site? What's going on?
