Subscription price

Hello, everyone!

Yesterday I purchased the Platinum subscription (I'm still in the trial week) and next Wednesday I'm supposed to get charged €64,99 for the whole year (I guess the price is international, but just in case, I'm in Spain). However, now that I'm in the trial week, if I check the subscription plans, it says that the yearly Platinum subscription is €35,99 (all this done through an iPad, on the computer the prices are different, which seems really odd, to be honest).

Why is this? Is it a mistake on the chess.com page? Or maybe they just offered a discount just after I got the subscription? I was considering cancelling the subscription and resubscribing, it's almost half the price, but I don't know, everything is just weird regarding pricing.

Another strange thing is that the subscription actually was a present from my girlfriend and, before buying the normal subscription with me, she checked the "Presents" options in chess.com to give me the subscription as a surprise/present, but the prices are higher than just getting the subscription regularly. Why is there such a difference in the pricing?

In any case, I was wondering what is the actual price of the Platinum subscription (at least in Spain), why are there differences in the pricing between getting the subscription through a computer, on an iPad and as a present, and, finally, if a discount of some sort was just offered regarding subscriptions; if I can get the Platinum subscription for €35,99/year, that would be the best scenario (and that's the price I'm currently being offered in the iPad, but I already have a subscription that will get charged next Wednesday, 2nd of November).

Thank you very much in advance.

I would try to contact Support. There are specials being run at various times and not every page of their gigantic website is kept constantly up to date.

Gifts always use US pricing. The site has regional pricing for some locations, so purchasing that yourself will give the regional price if that's available for you.
