Tournament and timeout ratio - Chess Forums

<p>Hi, I am trying to understand my problem of joining a tournament. Based on my statistic, I only have 2% time out ratio. But when I join tournament, it won't let me join and indicate I don't meet the time out requirement, which I clearly met. Am I miss understanding something? Thanks in advance...</p>

Timeout ratio is NOW based on the past 90 days.

You've completed 4 games in the last 90 days.

You timed out in one of those games.

1/4 is larger than 2%.

Thanks for the info artfizz. Based on what you said, the 2% time out I saw must be just a sample not my real statistic then. Now I think about it, your info seem correct. I did look around, but I can't find what you listed. Where are those info in the website? Thanks again....

MY HOME -> Online Chess. The stats are on the bottom right - you just have to scroll down a long way.

You may have calculated the 2% yourself, based on having played 63 games in all, and only timing out in one of them - or you may have misread the 25% shown on the basis of that assumption.
