Turned off highlight moves. But it still highlights it

I wanted to turn of highlight moves so I went to setting and turned it off. I saved it but it still highlights the moves. I did this ten times but still nothing why does this happen I am 100% certain I pressed save on every attempt

Doesn't happen to me at all.

Suddenly today this is happening to me as well, even uninstalled and reinstalled app, same yellow squares despite "highlight last move" switched off.

I am having the same issue and asked here. Martin Stahl responded but hasn't updated an answer. I guess it's happening to more people and may be resolved soon. I hope so because highlights and arrows are good for analysis but distracts me during games.
