Upgrading to friends/family plan on app

Howdy ya'll,

Does anybody know why you can't get the friends / family plan on the app? I'm trying to change plans and Apple has me trapped in their ecosystem.

You can’t get friends and family plan on the app but you should be able to upgrade on the website and you will get the features on the app as well
