Banning is no guarantee, it is staff's discretion. A few banned accounts' comments remain, eg rigamagician

Topics CAN be deleted, but it is not our policy to allow it anymore.
The simple fact is that once someone else posts in a topic it ceases to be "owned" by the OP and it becomes a shared document. What right does the OP have to delete all the comments from everyone who posted in a topic?!

I believe the OP should have the right, since it is the thread that he/she started. If it werent for the OP, no comments would have been there in the first place. Plus, if the OP can block comments from the thread, why cant they be deleted?

I know that when I post some decent content in a topic, I would not be happy to see that destroyed just because the OP decided that the topic was unworthy of existance. Makes me not want to post anything useful.
