Sean, if you beat a 1700 player in 10/0, I'm pulling out all the Worldwide chess Engines and examining every single move in explicit detail!
Seriously, that was quite a good game - you either got 2 pawns for your sac'd Knight, or his King was stuck in the middle. It was the latter, his King was never safe, and you punished him in the end!

But it's different in a 10 minute encounter. His King was stranded in the middle for the whole game, even though you only had a pawn for it. Also, you could castle easily and had the free and easy development, which obviously created so much pressure, not just on the board but maybe on the clock, that he eventually blundered a Rook.
