What is wrong with the formatting on Chess.com?

All joking aside. I'm sure they are not going to make those things for premium members only.

It is unfortunate Chess.com chooses to just make changes without letting people know to expect issues. Instead, they just let the users spend days speculating about what is going to happen. Just like a couple of weeks ago when the delete button disappeared from the messages area.

It all fucking sucks, they just want to steal money of all us members, now they even made the basic things of chess.com for premium only, how poor is that? the world is all about money and if we do nothing, nothing will change. I guess that they will even close your account soon and you only can open it if you have premium! they dont care about us normal members, if its true and they made it only for premium, then open your eyes and leave this site!

What basic things have they made for Premium Members only?

Checking your game history?

Wait a few days before jumping to that conclusion, okay? I seriously doubt they would deliberately make this a premium feature. Free members should be able to look at and review their games definitely.

Was this a response to me?

If so, I think it has always been like that, not something new.

They made the "about me" and "games" part of profile pages only for premium, thats what i mean with they starting to make even the basics for premium only. and this is just the beginning. open your eyes they do this only for money. And its already clear: all premium members have it, and we normal members dont!

How do you know this? Did you read an official announcement or recieve a message from Chess.com?

Um... there'a a good chance that threads like this one are visited frequently by the staff. Just sayin'.

I look at last games from people to detect cheaters easily. If I cannot see their last games, I really hope they have finally found a way to know when exactly a member is using engine, because I can help no more.

What's your method? I look at peoples games and have no idea how I could do this.

Cute idea on your profile image. Even if you don't leave, I think you should keep it.

If they play like an engine, you can go on an analize the game, and also compare ratings "live" and "online". In the tournament I am currently playing there are 2 banned members. Guess what. They are in my group and I detected them.

One thing you can do is just put some of their finished games (as long as you don't do this to any ongoing games it won't be cheating) through engine analysis, if you have one of those.  It definitely isn't possible to make a flawless conclusion on whether the person has been cheating or not, but it can at least be used as a tool to help in the final assessment of whether you should get in touch with staff about it or not, so they can make further investigations.

I see. How do you weed out false positives?

You are right, there are more things to have in mind, I just mentioned the most logical to me, but further investigations have to be made to reach a more accurate conclusion ;)

Seems like a lot of tedious work for little gain. Why not just play and forget about the occassional cheater?

Sorry, I dont really understand what you mean.
