Why chess.com servers are so bad ?

Martinstahl is clearly lying. He said the site started in 2007 but a quick google search will tell us that chess.com started in 2005. Also 20 years is an estimate for the time. So I have proof that Martinstahl is lying (there are more lies).

Prior to 2007 the Chess.com domain was owned by a company called Aficionado that sold Chess training software called Chess Mentor. It wasn't a playing site and didn't have anything else.

The site you're on today did not exist until 2007. Maybe go check out the site history posted by the CEO and co-founder @erik before saying someone is lying.

You do not want to give away the secrets because you do not want people to know why chess.com is so bad. Just tell why chess.com has so many and why I am not getting refunded after losing to the cheaters. You know the disconnection thing is to put the blame on you because you are not helping with this problem. Just admit that you are lying about the disconnection thing or I will expose you to the whole world and you will be in big trouble

Same thing every 3 to 4 days I disconnect AND they NEVER REFUND my RATING. So stupid. Can more people respond it is good for me to hear what is going on

Unless there is a site wide issue or one where there's a sever error disconnecting a lot of members in a short time frame, point refunds are not done.

The vast majority of disconnects are due to issues outside the site control and not due to sever issues.

There are things that can be done client side to minimize connection issues, though it can't solve everything.

If you think about it if somebody does disconnect okay but chess.com can purposefully disconnect you and then you do not have a refund. This is why my rating always drops and then doesn’t get refunded also chess.com controls my internet because every time (it is very true) after I play on chess.com and go do something else like google something up my internet is very bad and before I play on chess.com my internet is good. So chess.com purposefully males my internet bad which is stupid. Also why would chess.com not spend money to get more servers. I think this is because chess.com is the most for profit company I have ever played which is so stupid. If martinstahl answers I will be reviewing his answer to see if he is lying because martinstahl doesn’t usually give long answers because he does not want to give it away and also when martinstahl gives long answers he will not talk about the subject he would go off topic to not give it away. This is so stupid chess.com also he does not give good answers to my questions. Also I am quoting you because you quoted so much of my work which means I am quoting you because you waste my time with useless information/answers.

Also why is martinstahl not responding anymore. Maybe because he is going to get exposed. I mean he should get exposed.

There was nothing to respond to. 🤔

You don't want to respond to every unfounded and unreasonable conspiracy theory that gets posted on the forums? Isn't that a moderator's job? wink.png

FelixN2022

There was something to respond. You just do not want me even more frustrated.

FelixN2022

There is something very fishy with martinstahl.

The issue is with your internet: Chess.com can control how much data is being sent from their website to your client device, but once you close the site, it stops. It's not downloading anything that can run on your device to affect your internet afterwards, so if Google is bad afterwards as well, that's clearly a problem with your internet.

If you're really in the Faroe Islands, I wouldn't be surprised if things happen that affect your internet speeds: I doubt that there's a lot of redundancy in your systems.

FelixN2022

It is always after I play on chess.com after a while. It I the same pattern so it is surely chess.com that is controlling my internet

No site can "control your internet".

You do understand that because response times are so important in an online game that you will notice any issues with your internet more immediately than another type of application where your internet can download stuff ahead of where you're actually up to, so that if there is an interruption you don't notice until you catch up to all of the buffered content? So you are much less likely to notice an internet issue in any sort of streaming service like YouTube or Netflix or Spotify and much more likely to see it in something like Fortnite or Call of Duty or yes, Chess, even though the sheer amount of data being sent for a chess game is much less than either of those first 2. And those first 2 organisations are making waaaay more money than Chess.com and have spent waaaay more money on their servers than Chess.com could ever do.

FelixN2022

Chess.com doesn’t care about quality only money. Also chess.com disconnects more often than lichess like chess.com disconnects every single day.

FelixN2022

Then chess.com is not sending is not sending enough data to my client device probably because they hate me because I am exposing them. But chess.com does not respect me at all. I feel like I am getting treated very poorly by chess.com than other players and that is extremely unfair. Plus chess.com said you are unable to message with this account. Also it is specific people I am unable to message with and that is in my private messages. Chess.com also gave me no warning and I DID NOT to anything so why? This is to support my theory of chess.com treating other members better than me and also I feel like out of all the members on chess.com I am treated the worst of all of them.

FelixN2022

Also why is martinstahl not responding to my complaints of disconnection because it is horrible

If you can't send a message to someone, it means they either blocked you or only accept messages from friends.

I already provided support articles regarding that.

FelixN2022

It is not helpful

FelixN2022

So why are you trying to waste my time

David

He's provided guidance and support - the fact that you refuse to accept it is not his problem, it's yours.
