If a moderated didn't like my title change a warning would be nice.
After a thread gains that much traction and a certain audience it seems unfair to move it. The original title was related to psychic chess masters. I altered the title in the wee hours to indicate there was an update to the UFO thing, which was a mistake, but I reverted the title, so can you move it back? The title and OP question is about psychic chess masters which is fair game for a general chess discussion. The fact that the participants migrated away from the topic is the way threads go, if the thread is on topic it should remain. Not fair to power trip and abuse the moderator position. There has to be fairness and neutrality.
I think that after a thread gains that much traction and a certain audience it's no problem to move it because anyone who's already tracking it won't lose track of it.

The fact that it deviated should have been a warning not a draconian abuse of power. All kinds of threads start off on topic and migrate, not fair to move them because of some posters. And if I screwed up by tampering with the title, then warn me, I'll correct it and learn from the experience.
Nothing is more petty and idiotic than unjust people who abuse their positions of power and aren't mature enough to admit it or correct it when they have.
Well maybe it was because talking about UFO's is just slightly off topic, wouldnt you say? -_- These forums are for chess and chess only...unless you go to the off-topic part of the forum, but even there it will be strict. So I suggest if you want to talk about something and it's not chess, then don't do it here.

I'm still not getting this joke.
I would imagine, if there were people who could read minds, and see into the future, they would be doing something far more interesting than becoming chess masters, anyway.
