pdela, it was an infamous thread. It is gone now, and had over 1000 posts. It was started by someone with a username of "daeth" who had really bad spelling.

The thread's topic was related to chess. Many threads have plenty of replies and subthreads that go off topic and aren't removed, and isn't fair to punish a thread or disenfranchise the participants with arbitrary capricious censorship. But I know the unfair biased unjust arbitrarily and non-uniformly applied abuse of power that the moderators victimized me with, without warning, notice, discussion or recourse. a premium paying member for three years, will come back and nail them, maybe even in a more serious context, and when that happens and they are pissed and betrayed and wondering why, they shouldn't because its their own petty power abusing crap returning to teach them a lesson about not abusing power anywhere.

The thread left chess entirely. It was barely on chess from the beginning.

Quasi-chess-related at best, in the beginning.

I put a lot of time and energy into it i would not have if I knew some closet Fascist was going to abuse their position that late in the thread. It is too non-uniform and subjectively attacked to justify. Next time you or the moderators get pissed off at an analogous situation you are on the wrong side of and angry at the perceived or very real sense of injustice you suffer under, just remember your own hubris and disregard for genuinely fair play in this case
