Why I have rating live-quick instead live-blitz

Here is the thing, I play bullet 3 min, sometimes 5 min, and blitz 1 min.

Before I had shown live blitz rating, but now it says live quick. That happened after I tried 2I1 game, but I just play couple.

1 minute is bullet.

5 minute is blitz.

Bullet faster than blitz.

If u rollover with mouse over my nickname it pop up live-quick, so I guess this means bullet, as before it was blitz (when rating was lower).

Thanks, now it makes sense, so quick means bullet. I am new here, so it wasn't clear.

Yes, the terms are interchangeable.

The system here will always display your current highest rating, on mouseover.

That rating can be: Turn-based, Turn-based 960,  Live Quick, Live Blitz or Live Standard.

What is 960 (besides some people rating, couldn't help :) ), and how long is live standard.

Avatar of PrawnEatsPrawn

960 is the same as normal chess but the back row (the pieces) have randomized start positions.

Live Standard is more than 14 minutes each per game (from memory).

Yes, one can play for and obtain five different ratings on Chess.com.

960 games may be had only in turn-based chess (i.e. 3 days per move).

Set up a game by:

1. Making/accepting a direct challenge to/from another member.

2. Making/accepting an "open seek".

3. Joining a dedicated 960 tournament.

3 days per move? Ufff, even 1 min sometimes sems boring to me ;)

Not my cup of tea, but will take a look into to see how it works.
