Cannot move

I have lost a couple of matches recently because I cannot move my pieces, or they move very slowly. This is some sort of internet or software problem. Has anyone else experiences this dificulty

I've had a look at those two games, where were you trying to move?

All the moves you see .. I made ... but it took several attempts before they stayed in place.

I have just spent the last hour reinstalling my computer. I was thinking it must be a virus or something. However, it has not cured problem. I am totally unable to use live chess (the moves are strained and slow) . Any ideas what is happening?

I completely reinstalled windows. You cant get cleaner than that !!

It is still not working. It does however seem to be "pc" related cos I have tried anothe rpc and it is ok. But this is a mystery as to why I should suddenly have the problem. Any other ideas?

Was this live or online chess?

it was live chess .. computer is still unusable for it. On line chess is ok

I now seem to be experiencing a further problem. Do you think they are related?

When I initiate a new live game .. its says my challenge has been accepted and then hangs. Then after a minute or so it comes up with an error message ....

Try using google chrome or firefox 5 and make sure you have the latest java installed.

Yes. Thanks for this suggestion. Google Chrome seems to be the answer. No problems now that I have repaced IE8 with this browser.
