Guys, all you have to do is make your own independent measurements. You'll find that there is a fairly predictable difference between the various ratings. This isn't hard to explain, its just some of you want to argue and say stupid things.

USCF(standard) - ~250 ~= Chess.com(blitz)
I can't believe the retard that said, "What if someone has a USCF standard rating of 200, does that mean their chess.com blitz rating is -50?" I mean, who asks such a stupid question? I don't even need to explain that one, because if you had to ask the question, you clearly won't understand regardless of what I say.

This is not a complex issue, and its not open to debate. The mathematics are too simple. Ask yourself, what do I gain from convincing you? Are you going to pay me for teaching you? No, so why would I want to waste my time on you?

I am skeptical about this - I reached almost 2100 in blitz on my cell phone while eating at Noodles&Company with very few losses, while my USCF rating (which is quite active, I usually play a few tournaments per month) is a little over 2000. If anything the ratings are pretty comparable by that comparison, but I think I could be rated much higher in chess.com blitz if I used a mouse.
Adam Rinkleff's only "point" (or thesis, as it were) is that he knows ten people in the USCF that also play blitz chess on this site, and their USCF ratings are consistenly 200-300 points higher than their chess.com blitz ratings.
No, no. This has come up like five times already, and I keep repeating myself (which is why I might seem irritable). I checked several dozen individuals (more than ten), most of whom I did not know at all. In every case, without exception, the difference was approximately 250.
I am sure there are exceptions, but I think anyone who checks the numbers for themselves, will surely find a similar average.

To be fair, it is pretty easy to reach 2100, as an expert, if your average opponent is ~1785 (data from your profile). It becomes considerably more difficult to get past 2250 because you almost always have to play someone lower rated (I don't know if you consider +150 as "much higher rated," just using this as an example point).
With regards to this thread in general, at the high end of the spectrum (2200+ blitz rating) you are most likely going to be lower rated on this site and higher rated in person.
