Colors fade after certain moves in bullet?

Over the last few days, occasionally, when I am in a bullet match, after certain moves the board colors will change to be slightly less saturated. I originally thought it was a problem with my computer, but when I go to analysis, it will change color the same way and I can pinpoint the exact move where it will happen. Since it mainly happens near the end of bullet matches, it may have something to do with have a lot of moves premoved. Does anyone know what this means? Posted a screenshot so you can see the difference.
