My rating is 1296, and my opponent's is 1232. As usual, I gain 7 for winning, lose 1 for a draw, and lose 9 for a loss. However, I received 8 points when I won. I tried reloading the page, but it still displays this information. Has anyone else had this problem?

There is nothing wrong with your rating.
Ratings are a lot more complex than you are making them out to be. Sometimes, ratings can change a lot more than 7 or 8 points in a game.

If you look at the chat bar on the side, it says that I will receive 7 points for winning. However, right below, it says I gained 8 points.
